About Aberdeen

Although the 'Granite City' has built its wealth on North Sea oil, Aberdeen in north-east Scotland is now a thriving local centre with various types of industry and business.

About Aberdeen

Up in the north-east of Scotland, far from the southern centres of Edinburgh and Glasgow, Aberdeen is a city thriving in part because of its relatively remote location. Over the last three decades, North Sea oil has brought great wealth into the city, allowing other types of industry to flourish as well, and bringing the sort of business that creates a high demand for short and medium stay apartments.

Known as the ‘Granite City’, due to the large number of buildings built from local rock, Aberdeen has a distinctive look that seems to fit its rugged surroundings. But, despite the elements, the city’s prosperity is causing more and more businesses to flock there and, with competition for hotel space high, serviced apartments give a practical and cost effective alternative for corporate travellers.

SITU’s serviced apartments in Aberdeen give convenient access to the heart of this cultural and historic city. The city boasts the UK’s busiest heliport, while good rail routes running right up from London, as well as a local airport, ensure it is easy to make your way to and from Aberdeen. Our serviced apartments in Aberdeen are an excellent way to make the most of your time, so check out the variety of apartments we have on offer.
